Tulum is a magical land. Adventures here range from beachcombing to jungle water cave exploring. Luxury and ecotourism reside. A bit rugged and maybe dangerous.
Tulum is a tourist destination, let’s say is like it is. Especially along the ocean-side. English and european languages are prevalent and there is an ever-present air of hospitality. The town of Tulum is more a bustle of activity and locals doing business. Great (and cheap) tacos!
In case you were curious, here are some of our favorites places to eat:
- Posada Margherita (Italian. Homemade noodles!)
- Mateo’s Mexican Grill (fucking amazing fish tacos)
- El Pez Hotel (catch of the day)

find patterns. take pictures.
that's really what this is about. For 14 days look around and take a quick pause. Take a picture. Half of them will be shit, really. But inevitably a few good ones come out.
In the end you'll capture more than expected:
- a day in the life
- the materials around me
- the beauty in the mundane
Try it. Its fun.

Condor's are a rare find, but in the mountains of Argentina you can at least find their poop. It just might take some adventuring to get there. This is one of the things you learn when you go horse back riding in Argentina. Bariloche (the Tahoe of Argentina - think large lake, german architecture, and snow adventure) is in the middle of the country and located at the foothills of the Andes.

Sierraville is located near Tahoe National Forest and the glimmering Lake Tahoe. It is a small town, camping is located about 30 minutes from 'town' - aka a gas station. We camped on BLM land. Let's talk about the BLM. The Bureau of Land Management is a great resource and shouldn't be missed.
Exploring the area and we are reminded just how expansive the forest can be. Thick and dense. You could walk for days upon days and still find yourself in the forest. And when you cross over that last mile you know a good fire, whiskey drink, and conversation comes is not far off.
Here in Sierraville, CA you are reminded the large amounts of land covered and explored when cars we're a far dream. It's a reminder of the OG's roughing it. The gold diggers, the prospector, the hopeful, the adventures.
