Start near the Hoyt–Schermerhorn Subway stop. And make your way down to Cobble Hill.
Strolling and snacking: swing by Sahadi's Middle Easter Grocery Store for walking snacks. Walk down Court and Smith street to check out local store, eateries, coffee shops. Get some sweats at Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain in Cobble Hill. And stop by the Jalopy Theater for drinks and possibly music.
Walk down Van Brunt St. and head into Red Hook.
Here you’ll find a great bar Sunny's, the Good Fork for dinner, and Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pies for… pie. Take the ferry to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It's just a few dollars and has views of the city and the Statue of Liberty. Check the schedule here.
